'Connect & Blossom' Day Retreat - Amsterdam
Our daily life is filled with opportunities and activities and all combined, they can feel quite overwhelming at times. Feeling tired, overwhelmed, anxious or uninspired is often a sign that it is time to take a step back, pause, and apply some practices that allow you to not only endure your life(style) but actually thrive. Sometimes all it takes is a day to give yourself what you need and shift perspectives.
This day retreat Suze and Ernestine will offer you a selection of practices that all enforce each other and guide you to (re)-connect with your heart and body. Connected to the physical sensations that can guide you in your daily life, you learn how stress affects you on a daily basis. Instead of avoiding the stressors in your life, you will learn tools to deal efficiently with stress and release tension to return to a deeply relaxed state.
In a relaxed state, you can connect to our intuition and our heart, allowing you to make your choices from a place of presence and embodiment. With Spring at our doorstep, it is time to plant the seeds of our heart desires. This day retreat you will be guided to plant the right seeds and allow yourself to blossom!

Suze is a diverse yoga teacher with a background in Psychology. Based in Amsterdam, she has been teaching since 2006. Suze is a certified TRE® (Trauma Release Exercises) provider and Yoga Nidra facilitator. As a coach, she also includes family constellations and breath work in her sessions.
Her passion for travel, a conscious lifestyle, and (self) healing, inspired her to create Global Flow in 2010. Global Flow offers global yoga events, with international yoga teachers, that combine a deep yoga practice with sustainability and self-care.
Suze believes strongly that the holistic approach of combining yoga asana with disciplines like mindfulness, breath work, Ayurveda, aromatherapy, and trauma- and stress release practices, offer all the tools we need to not only find inspiration but to gain insight and find the healing that can alter the course of our lives.
Her yoga teaching style is a combination of challenging asana sequences, focus on alignment, deep embodiment, and self-healing. The challenging parts of the practice are met with humor and clear guidance that keeps you safe and grounded. Suze's Yoga Nidra and meditation teachings offer you a relaxation that goes beyond just the physical and allows healing to take place on a deeper level.
From an early age, Ernestine knew she wanted to contribute to this world by becoming a facilitator of healing and growth. Fascinated by the big questions, such as ‘who or what are we’, and ‘why are we here’, she continuously invests in her personal growth and her education as a life coach and teacher.
The way, in which she offers her teachings, has developed according to the expansion of her awareness. She started with 1 on 1 coaching and now also hosts different courses and retreats because in her experience there is a transformative power in ‘retreating’ for a longer period of time in the sacred space of a connected group.
To Ernestine, spending time in silence is the most profound way in which we can connect to who we truly are, as ‘a spiritual being with a human experience’. She believes that, when we know who we truly are, we no longer only relax during a class or retreat, but we become the inner peace that we were looking for.
Through her holistic approach, Ernestine supports you in becoming the most brilliant version of yourself by the nourishment of your body, mind, and soul!
A brief summary of her educations is MA of Arts, Coaching & Counseling, Bridgeman Meditation Trainer in Mindfulness-Based Emotional Intelligence, Reiki 1, Rigpa 1, and many more courses and workshops in intuition, meditation, healing, and energy work.
We are gathering at the beautiful studio of YogaToday in Amsterdam-Weesp, only a 15-minute train ride from Amsterdam Central Station. In this fully equipped studio, you get to enjoy a day filled with different practices and enjoy a delicious, vegan lunch. During your lunch break, you can have a stroll along the picturesque canals in Weesp. The perfect combination to get the most out of this one day retreat that will leave you feeling fully recharged and inspired.
