The Workshops
Saturday Session 1:
Breaking Down Arm Balances - Arm Balance Workshop
Maybe it’s your first time doing crow or you are an experienced practitioner, arm balances are a fun part of our yoga practice. However, when we become so focused on getting into the pose, this aspect of joy can be replaced by aggression.
Learn drills/tools/anatomy for building a seamless arm balance practice in asana as well as transition, allowing us to practice our arm balances from a space of joy and learning.
Even if you’re a master at arm balances this is a great class to understand how to teach others and understand the physiology to target different parts of the body better.
Saturday Session 2:
The Art of the Warrior - Finding Our Creativity and Strength in the Practice
Art was once defined to me as the combination of mastery of technique mixed with true self-expression. This is flow focused in body, breath and mind and taps into reigniting our passion of the practice and exploring various self-expressions through our body movements.
Sunday Session 1:
Choosing Growth: End Range Mobility - A New Perspective on Deepening your Practice
This class introduces a new perspective on how to engage in our practice to find the quickest and safest results. End range mobility is a powerful tool for understanding our body and overall health when we are trying to deepen our practice. When we are growing,
we are always entering new spaces - this workshop provides the tools to access these new spaces to find optimal growth.
.
Sunday Session 2:
Restoring the Nervous System - Rejuvenating the Nervous System
This workshop focuses on rejuvenating the body and mind. The placebo effect is a documented phenomenon where a substance that should have no effect, has shown real benefits. How? Because of the belief someone holds - belief becomes so powerful, it can create change on its own in our bodies. In this workshop, we will work towards reinforcing a stronger connection to believing in ourselves to recharge our soul while feeling good in the body.

Hiro Landazuri
Hiro Landazuri is a yoga teacher and photographer with a background in medicine. He first connected with yoga almost 20 years ago to help with running-related injuries. The challenging aspects of the practice and the stress relief that came with it immediately drew him in.
While working on his biochemistry degree and conducting research as an undergrad, Hiro decided to take a break from academia. With years of yoga practice under his belt, he began teaching classes in 2007. He went back to college to finish his degree after a series of life changes and entered a rigorous graduate medical program that focused on heart transplant surgery. He left the field after realizing it wasn’t the right path for him and dove right back into teaching yoga.
Location
We are gathering at the beautiful van Houten Church in Amsterdam-Weesp, only a 15-minute train ride from Amsterdam Central Station. This beautiful church with wooden floors offers a unique atmosphere and all the comfort you need for this training. During your lunch break, you can have a stroll along the picturesque canals in Weesp. There are different lunch options and stores, or you can enjoy the weather sitting on one of the terraces by the water.
