The Masterclass: Mantra & Myth
Through ancient stories/mythology and chanting, we will open into our bodies and the whole being in a new way. Learning the power of story and mantra offers depth to the journey of yoga and brings us back to a heart-centered life.
Janet will guide you through a vinyasa sequence that infuses chanting, storytelling, and asana practice that embodies the heart and soul of yoga practice. This creates the space to experience a deeply integrated experience of the practice and all the layers it offers you.
The masterclass will leave you feeling connected and with an open heart. The practices offered during the workshop can be a starting point for you to invite chanting and mythology more into your regular practice as a way of finding a deeper connection to the underlying meaning of yoga in your daily life.
Janet Stone
Janet Stone’s studentship began at the age of 17 under the meditation teachings of Prem Rawat. His reverence for simplicity and finding joy in the rise and fall of life live on in her practice and teaching today. She shares from the alchemy of her own sadhana through bhakti yoga and the eight-limbed path.
In 1996, she traveled to India, the birthplace of her grandfather, and became dedicated to the path of yoga. Based in Bali and San Francisco, she leads immersions, retreats, workshops and more.
